Frighteners, The Review

Frighteners, The came out in 1996 and was directed by the ever-flamboyant Peter Jackson. We have used science (and possibly the box cover) to determine that this movie fits perfectly into the "Comdey/Horror" genre.

During the time we had our polls open, 2 stumpy viewers just like you weighed in on Frighteners, The. 2 of 'em thought it was great! 0 thought it was shit. Takes all kinds.

This is a Dave and Jim's B-Movie Review. This review was written some time between 1996 and 2001. Once you've sucked the marrow from this one, you can head back to the full list to pick another review for savoring. Do it again and again.

Dave's Review

This movie is highly appealing. It is probably a bit too macabre for the mainstream, but to us B-Movie watchers, it's like high-grade heroin.

Jim's Review

While it isn't truly a B-Movie, this movie was included because we watched it during our First Annual Death by Movie Marathon. This was an excellent horror movie and the characters, specifically, were well-made.
