Thing, The Review

Thing, The came out in 1982 and was directed by the ever-twitchy John Carpenter. We have used science (and possibly the box cover) to determine that this movie fits perfectly into the "horror" genre.

During the time we had our polls open, 322 multi-limbed viewers just like you weighed in on Thing, The. 156 of 'em thought it was great! 166 thought it was shit. Takes all kinds.

This is a Dave and Jim's B-Movie Review. This review was written some time between 1996 and 2001. Once you've sucked the marrow from this one, you can head back to the full list to pick another review for savoring. Do it again and again.

Dave's Review

This movie is awesome, truly a modern classic. The gore was outstanding. Lots of nice scenes of hyper-active flying bloody froth!

Jim's Review

Another one of John Carpenter's masterworks. This is probably one of my favorite horror movies now. I've seen few this cool and this realistic. John Carpenter is a director to look for.
