I Spit On Your Grave came out in 1978 and was directed by the ever-delightful Meir Zarchi. We have used science (and possibly the box cover) to determine that this movie fits perfectly into the "Rape Revenge Horror" genre.

During the time we had our polls open, 330 erotic viewers just like you weighed in on I Spit On Your Grave. 195 of 'em thought it was great! 135 thought it was shit. Takes all kinds.

Dave's Review

This is the mother of all depraved movies. The main character was raped for the first half of the movie and then she killed people for the second half. Now that's entertainment!

I feel that she definately overeacted to being raped four times onscreen. According to Joe-Bob Briggs (horror movie icon) this is the third most depraved movie. The first one is Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the second is Last House On The Left. Now I've seen them all! (Evil laughter)
