Dave's Review

Quite simply one of the greatest horror movies ever made. The contrast between your average horror movie and a Kubrick masterpiece is striking. The pacing is perfect, building tension throughout the movie until the awesome climax. It should also be said that Jack Nicholson is perfect in his role. I cannot recommend this movie highly enough.

Jim's Review

There are too many good things about this movie to list. As with most Kubrik films it is almost perfect. Any normal horror film, even a great one will look trashy compared to this film. This is one of the best examples that proves that horror films can be as good as any movie in another genre. If you have not seen it yet, you are missing out, I recommend you see it at the next opportune time.
