Dave's Review

This is by far my favorite Halloween. I think it probably took a lot of its cues from Scream - the self mocking and the realism. And it fulfills the basic human desire to see Jamie Lee Curtis kick some slasher ass.

Jim's Review

I am sad that this one lacks Donald Pleasents as the Doctor. I mean without him telling every one that Michael Myers is going to kill again A Halloween movie just doesn't feel like a Halloween movie. That observation aside, I think it is by far the best Halloween movie made since Halloween 2. It has every thing the old Halloween series had, plus the new slasher genre feel that comes from Scream. This one gives a good ending for the series, at least it is a good ending if they don't make another movie. This one is probably worth seeing, it ends up being one of the better slasher movies out these days.

Jim broke it down like so: Technology: 6 Action: 6 Nudity: 1 Coolness: 6 Badguys: 7 Gore: 6 Shock: 6 Dialog: 5 Post-Nuke?: N Music: 7 Plot: 4 Length: Short Overall: 7
