Dave's Comments: I have to award all sorts of points to this movie for its utter realism. This is, by far, the most realistic vampire movie I have ever seen or will ever expect to see. The lonely boy is very convincing. Romero manages to make it both tense and funny. The ending is a real "wow". Definately see this movie.

Jim's Comments: This movie is directed by George Romero, the man who brought us Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead. As in all of Romero's works, this movie always had a very realistic feeling about it. That is probably its strongest point, you are left with the general feeling that this is really how vampires would live if they existed. This is by far my favorite vampire movie, it throws away many of the old stereo types, and turns out to be a very original movie. I recommend that any Romero fan see this movie, it is one of his best works.
