Physical Workspaces

I’ve always loved good workspaces:

beautiful custom home woodworker setups in outbuildings
model maker’s painting stations
Tom Sach’s studio and Casey Niestat’s studio
researcher’s book-filled nooks (with cat)

I’ve had some of my own. Usually a workbench plus shelving in a garage. Now I’ve got scattered corners of the house that I’ve "claimed" as mine to various degrees in much the same way that our cat has claimed various furniture and bits of flooring that get direct sunlight.

Increasingly, I’m using separate computers-as-workspaces.
