Text Editing (on computers)

I write everything in plaintext these days. (Well, text-markup, really.)

Like Derek Sivers says (sive.rs), text files are portable, un-commercial, offline, easy to convert, and contain no dependencies.

After converting to full-time Linux use, I trained myself in the use of Vim and have been using it ever since.
