Writers write

This card is a bracing reminder to myself to not let too much more time slip by before I start working on my "real goals".

It’s like a punch in the TODO list, which is located uncomfortably close to the groin area.

As you know, "Professional writer" means one thing. "Published author" means something similar.

"Writer" means you write.

If you write, you’re a writer! Doesn’t matter if you’re published or not. Doesn’t matter if you have an audience of thousands or one. Writers write. :-)

On the flip side, if you’re not writing, you’re not a writer. :-(

Same goes for woodworker, programmer, or cook.

Alas, I’m not currently a writer. I used to write. I aspire to write. (Okay, obviously I write content on my website, but I have storyteller aspirations.)
